a boutique approach to skincare and beauty—personal, intentional, and results-driven
customized care in a space where you can fully relax and unwind
your skincare + beauty gurus
Skin Sanctuary Co., nestled in the heart of East Cobb, is the go-to studio for results-driven skincare and elevated beauty services, bringing together advanced treatments and polished beauty essentials in a boutique setting.
Founded by Cassidy Self, licensed esthetician and makeup artist, she specializes in customized facials, corrective skincare, chemical peels, and microneedling—each treatment designed to support long-term skin health and real, visible results. Cass also provides soft and full glam makeup for weddings, events, lessons, and everyday wear.
Macie, licensed esthetician and wax specialist, offers brow and lash services, full-body and facial waxing. She loves helping clients maintain an effortless, polished look with services tailored to simplify their everyday routine. We like to call it being high-maintenance to be low-maintenance.
With medical director oversight by Dr. Diana Rodgers, advanced treatments are performed with a clinical standard of care, all within a warm, personalized environment that blends intention, expertise, and an experience that feels as good as the results.

MEET CASS
Hi! I’m Cass — licensed since 2017 and somehow still just as obsessed with this industry as I was when I first started.
I’ve always been deeply intuitive, creative, emotional, and drawn to anything that makes people feel beautiful, expressive, confident, comfortable, or truly understood. Makeup was my first love as a teenager, but once I discovered skincare and saw how much someone’s confidence can shift when they start feeling good in their own skin, I knew this was exactly what I was meant to do.
I’m the kind of esthetician who cares just as much about your mental well-being as I do your skin barrier. We always joke that estheticians are basically part-time therapists, but honestly… there’s a lot of truth to that. Some of the deepest conversations happen during facials, and being trusted during vulnerable seasons of people’s lives is something I never take lightly.
I care deeply about creating a space where people feel safe to show up exactly as they are. No pressure to look perfect. No judgment. No pretending you have everything together. Just genuine connection, honest guidance, good energy, and treatments tailored specifically to you.
And while I absolutely love advanced treatments and results-driven skincare, I’ll also be the first person to tell you “no” if I don’t think something is right for you. Your trust means everything to me, and I’ll always prioritize integrity, safety, and long-term skin health over trends, pressure, or unnecessary treatments.
Outside of the treatment room, I’m usually listening to music, chasing around my sweet toddler Rowan, hanging out with my husband, loving on our dogs Sage and Rosie, thrifting, painting, traveling, going to concerts, or finding a good mocktail somewhere. Honestly, if I hadn’t found this career, I genuinely think I would’ve ended up in interior design — which probably explains why I take the vibes of the studio very seriously around here! Creating a space that feels warm, inspiring, comforting, and a little magical is a huge priority to me.
I’m a Florida girl at heart who built a beautiful little life here in Georgia, and I truly feel so grateful this path found me.
Being trusted with people’s skin, confidence, stories, and vulnerability is such an honor, and I genuinely feel lucky I get to do this every single day.
I can’t wait to meet you in the studio!
MEET macie
Hi, I’m Macie! Licensed esthetician and full-body waxing specialist with over 6 years of experience helping people feel comfortable, confident, and cared for in their own skin.
I recently moved back to Georgia after living in Colorado, where I worked as the lead esthetician and trainer at Waxing the City. Waxing has truly become my specialty and biggest passion over the years, not just because I love the results, but because I know how vulnerable and intimidating it can feel walking into your first appointment.
Whether you’re nervous about the discomfort waxing may bring, feeling self-conscious, unsure of what to expect, or simply stepping outside of your comfort zone, I want you to know you are safe and in a judgment-free place in my treatment room.
My goal is to create an experience that feels safe, relaxed, and genuinely supportive from the moment you walk in. I take a lot of pride in making waxing as comfortable and efficient as possible while helping clients feel completely at ease throughout the process. So many people come in anxious for their first appointment and leave saying, “Wait… that was way better than I expected.”
Beyond waxing, I also love brow artistry, lash lifts, and tinting because I truly enjoy enhancing people’s natural beauty in ways that still feel effortless and like you.
Outside of the treatment room, I’m usually hanging with my cat, hiking, relaxing in my hammock, listening to R&B or jazz music, or finding little ways to slow down and enjoy life. I grew up horseback riding and will forever be a nature girl at heart. Also, fun fact: while living in Colorado, I met Snoop Dogg and saw Shaq’s DJ set… which honestly still feels iconic.
I’m so excited to meet you and truly can’t wait to have you in my treatment room.

Cass's Story: The Birth of Skin Sanctuary Co

Skin Sanctuary Co. was born during one of the most transformative seasons of my life.
In 2021, I moved back to Georgia from Florida and shortly after met my husband. Before I knew it, life started unfolding so quickly in the best, most unexpected ways.
We welcomed our sweet son Rowan in 2023, and becoming a mom completely changed me. It softened me, grounded me, challenged me, and made me reevaluate the kind of life I wanted to create for myself and my family.
During that first year postpartum, while spending my days home with Rowan, I felt this pull toward building something of my own. I knew I wanted a life that allowed me to be present for my family while also pouring my heart into work that genuinely fulfilled me creatively, emotionally, and spiritually.
I’ve always been a huge believer in manifestation, intuition, and the idea that when you’re truly aligned with what you’re meant to do, passion stops feeling like “work” and starts feeling like purpose.
That’s exactly what Skin Sanctuary became for me.
Not just another treatment room, but a space that felt warm, intentional, comforting, inspiring, and deeply personal. Somewhere people could come to not only work toward healthier skin, but also feel safe, cared for, understood, and able to fully exhale for a little while.
With encouragement from my Eastern medicine doctor, who offered me a suite inside her wellness building, Organic Living & Wellness, I finally took the leap and brought Skin Sanctuary Co. to life.
I built it from the ground up with a vision, a lot of faith, countless late nights and an unhealthy amount of caffeine.
What started as a dream during postpartum has now grown into something I’m endlessly proud of — a space filled with connection, healing, confidence, laughter, growth, vulnerability, and some really incredible people.
Every client who walks through the doors of SSCO becomes part of the story, and being trusted with people’s skin, confidence, and self-love journeys is something I never take lightly.
Watching this little sanctuary flourish the way it has has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
And we’re only getting started.
